Beginning Horseshoeing

as it deals with the proper shoeing of horses.

Equine Health Management

Study of conservation as it relates to natural resources, including water, forest,

Modern techniques used in meat processing with special reference to structure
and composition of the various meats. The course will include slaughtering,
processing of wholesale cuts, and finishing and preparing retail cuts of meat.

Fundamental principles of soil science: origin, nature and constitution of soils;

Basic principles of gardening and landscaping. Successful completion of
this course will fulfill the training requirements for the University of Arizona-Graham
County Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program.

The course will meet the training requirements of the Arizona, Graham,
and Greenlee County Cooperative Extension Master Watershed Steward Program.
The study will be of biotic and abiotic functions of a watershed, the benefits
and uses of the natural resources and the impacts of the socioeconomic concerns
and activities of the community.
