human communicative interaction and behavior.

Oral Interpretation of Literature

Prerequisite: ENG 101 with a grade of "C" or better
Imaginative and skillful oral rendering of prose and poetry through study of
literature and techniques of presentation.

Public Speaking

Prerequisite: ENG 102 with a grade of "C" or higher, or
concurrent enrollment in ENG 102
Study and practice of effective, audience-centered public speaking. Includes
methodology of written and spoken communication. Students generate a minimum
of 2,500 words including revisions throughout the semester.
