Available on all internet-connected computers on campus.  For off-campus access, students  may request passwords for all resources at the Information Desk at Alumni Library; registered library patrons who are not currently enrolled in EAC courses may also request passwords for off-campus access to our E-books and ProQuest ABI/INFORM at the Information Desk.Access to e-books also available to all registered Alumni Library users.

Academic Search Premier		Journals	Provides full text scholarly journal coverage for nearly all academic areas of study - including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, ethnic studies, etc.
AccessScience		e-books, Journal, etc.	Contains full text and illustrations of McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science and Technology, 9th ed plus updates; encyclopedia and research articles; definitions of terms; biographies; late-breaking scientific developments from Science News, images, and other science and technology resources.
America's Newspapers		Newspapers	A U.S. newspaper article database containing cover-to-cover full-text. Arranged geographically.
Business Source Premier		Journals	Contains full text scholarly journals and business periodicals covering management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, and much more.  Also includes substantial company profiles and industry reports
CQ Researcher		Journal	A single journal title with weekly issues on a single social issues subject; a significantly strong source of information.
ERIC		Journals	Provides access to citations and full text from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.  BE SURE TO TURN OFF "FULL TEXT ONLY" BEFORE SEARCHING THIS DATABASE.
Ethnic NewsWatch		Newspapers	A U.S. newspaper article database containing selected articles from newspapers, magazines, and journals of the ethnic and minority press.  Over 250 publications dating from 1990 to the present.  Includes Spanish language newspapers.
Gale Virtual Reference Library		e-books	Reference e-book database including reference materials on many topics including environmental issues, statistics, literature, education, multicultural issues, marriage and family, U.S. Constitution, social sciences, nursing/health, immigration issues, etc.
Health Source - Consumer Edition		Journals	Provides access to full text consumer health periodicals; also includes searchable full text for health-related pamphlets and reference books;  covers topics such as AIDS, cancer, diabetes, drugs & alcohol, aging, fitness, nutrition & dietetics, children’s health, women’s health, etc.
Health Source Nursing/ Academic Collection		Journals	Provides scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines with strong coverage of nursing and allied health. Also includes the Clinical Pharmacology database, providing access to up-to-date, concise and clinically relevant drug monographs for all U.S. prescription drugs, hard-to-find herbal and nutritional supplements, over-the-counter products and new drugs.
Issues & Controversies in American History		History articles	An American history database with articles to provide background, outcomes, and contemporary points of view for topics in American history.  Includes primary source documents, biographies, timelines, images, statistical charts, and encyclopedia survey articles.
LitFinder		Poems, essays, short stories	A database of full-text poems, short stories, and essays, plus critical and biographical information.
Magill's Medical Guide		Nursing e-book	Online access to this 5 volume medical reference encyclopedia.
MasterFile Premier		Journals	Contains full text periodicals covering general reference, business, health, education, general science, multicultural issues and much more.  Also contains full text for reference books, biographies, primary source documents, and an Image Collection of photos, maps & flags.
MEDLINE		Journals	Provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences; includes a significant full text collection.
Micromedex		Nursing Data	Contains health information, patient care plans, and prescription drug information. For access, please see a librarian.
Military & Government Collection		Journals	Offers current news pertaining to all branches of the military and government via a thorough collection of periodicals, academic journals and other content pertinent to the increasing needs of these sites.
NewsFile		Newspapers	A newspaper article database containing selected full-text articles from North American newspapers.
Newspaper Source		Newspapers	Provides selected full text for national (U.S.), international, and regional (U.S.) newspapers as well as full text television & radio news transcripts from CBS News, FOX News, NPR, etc. plus the cover-to-cover full-text content of The Christian Science Monitor and The London Times.
Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center		e-books, journal articles	Provides both sides of controversial and social issues by giving the full-text of the Opposing Viewpoints, At Issue, Current Controversies, and other social issue book series; also contains journal and newspaper articles and other reference resources.
Professional Development Collection		Journals	Provides a highly specialized collection of information especially for professional educators, librarians, and education researchers. ; offers information on everything from children’s health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice ; also provides full text education pamphlets scholarly monographs.
PsycARTICLES		Journals	Full-text database of professional articles from the journals of American Psychological Association (APA).
Psychology & Behavior Sciences Collection		Journals	Comprehensive database covering topics including emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.
Regional Business News		Journals	Provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.
Religion & Philosophy Collection		Journals	Comprehensive database covering topics such as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy.
Science (AAAS)		Journal	Science is the source for cutting-edge research as well as international science news.  Access is provided to full-text articles from 1997 to the present.  Available only via on-campus computers.
SIRS		Journals & Newspapers	Contains both SIRS Researcher, with journal and newspaper articles on social issues topics from A to Z, and Government Reporter, with government documents, Supreme Court cases, and related information.
Vocational & Career Collection		Journals	Provides full text coverage of trade and industry related periodicals and a variety of career-oriented reference books.
