Welcome to the World of Art

Do you feel the need to create? To express yourself and your ideas through art? You’re in the right place! We offer two programs: Art and Art Education. These programs can improve your skills and offer a solid foundation in visual arts if you decide to transfer to a university.

  • Artists usually develop their skills through a bachelor's degree program or other training

Art - Curriculum

Art (AA)
This associate of science degree prepares you to transfer to a college or university four or five-year program leading to a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. With your associate degree from EAC, you can transfer in as a junior. Please consult the official transfer guide to tailor your curriculum, since degree requirements differ between universities.

You should enter this curriculum having completed two years of algebra and one year of chemistry in high school or the equivalent college courses.

Program Learning Outcomes

Art Education (AA)
This curriculum provides the first two years of a four-year program in art at a professional art school or at a college of fine arts at one of the state’s public universities. Upon completion of one of these degrees at EAC, you will be able to transfer into a four-year college or university program.
