Eastern Arizona College Alumni Association Annual Award 2002

The Annual Alumni Award for 2002 was given to William Karlinsey. For 27 years his knowledge and expertise has been handed down and enjoyed by students of all ages. He has taught his students various skills from learning a trade to making a dutch oven. He has survived well the perils of shop teacher. One time in particular the foundry furnace blew up when one of his students put some cold material into a melt. All four of his children have attended EAC. His hobbies are people watching, back packing, canoeing, rock climbing, and being a Grandpa.
