Basketball Recruit Information
School Tradition
Eastern Arizona College has a long and
storied tradition of basketball excellence.
One of the high points of this success
came during the 1995 season in which the
Gila Monsters went 32-0. EAC is the first
school in ACCAC history to record 1000
wins. The team’s success includes sixteen
straight playoff appearances, seven region
championships, and five national
tournament appearances.
Player Success
Coach Parmeter puts his players in
situations where they can showcase their
skills. This is exemplified by some of the
recognition they have garnered over the
past seven seasons:
-Two Region I Scoring Leaders
-Two Region I Rebounding Leaders
-Fourteen All-Region Players
-Five First Team All-Region Players 
Coaching
Coach Parmeter is entering his eighth
season has a Head Coach in the ACCAC.
He spent five seasons at Scottsdale
Community College and is now in his 3rd
season at EAC. During that time his
programs have enjoyed a wealth of
success. His teams have qualified for the
region playoffs each season. They have
had three twenty win seasons, and were
nationally ranked five seasons.
Community
Eastern Arizona College is located in
Graham County with a population of
35,000. Due to its continued success,
EAC Basketball has become the main
attraction in town. The players get the
decided advantage of playing in a packed
Guitteau Gymnasium for all home games.
The passion and excitement makes for the
best home court advantage in all of the
ACCAC.
National Exposure
Eastern Arizona offers a unique chance
for enhanced exposure. All of EAC’s
home games are broadcast live over the
Internet. This makes the program, and its
players, accessible throughout the county.
This increased exposure has lead to thirtyfive
of coach Parmeter’s players going on
to four year institutions, fifteen of which
went on to Division I programs. Some of
the conferences that they have gone to
