Student Network Access FAQ
If I'm enrolled for a Fall class, when is the soonest that I can apply for EacStudentNet
internet access?
Enrollment in the Fall semester will allow you to apply for and receive EacStudentNet internet access starting
August 1 through December 31. The table below shows the beginning and ending dates for each semester.
These semester date ranges overlap one another allowing you to have uninterrupted internet access as long as you
maintain enrollment.

The Authentication tab is missing from the connection properties
page for my wireless/wired network card. Where is it?
In order for the authentication tab to appear on a Windows 2000 or Windows XP system, you must be running
the Wireless Zero Configuration service (even for wired network cards).
- Right-click My Computer and choose Manage.
- Expand Services and Applications.
- Click on Services.
- Scroll down on the right side of the window and dbl-click Wireless Zero Configuration.
- Change the Startup type to Automatic.
- If the Start button isn’t grayed out, click it to start the service.
- Click OK
