Minimum Computer Requirements for EacStudentNet

If you own a computer and are planning to bring it to campus, it should meet certain requirements to function effectively with EacStudentNet.

Supported Operating Systems and recommended minimum hardware requirements

Windows Vista:

  • 1GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 GB of system memory
  • 1 GB of available hard disk space
  • 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless network card for campus wireless hotspots

Windows XP Service Pack 1 or greater:

  • 1GHz Intel or AMD processor
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 1GB of available hard disk space
  • 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless network card for campus wireless hotspots

Mac OS X version 10.3 or greater:

  • 800MHz PowerPC G4
  • 256MB of RAM
  • 1GB of available hard disk space
  • 10/100baseT Ethernet network card for wired connections and/or 802.11b/g wireless network card for campus wireless hotspots
