Thatcher, AZ—EAC Repertory Acting Company perform at local elementary schools in the Gila Valley Eastern Arizona College Repertory Acting Company filled a van with sets, costumes, props, furniture, and sound equipment and took to the road in December as they embarked on a service project to bring their recent production of Stories Onstage: A Celebration of Traditional Folk Tales to local elementary schools.

Approximately 1,200 elementary school students from Fort Thomas, Pima, and Morenci were mesmerized by this student-produced production. A few lucky young aspiring actresses were called on stage to help tell the Alaskan folk tale, The Little Girl Who Swallowed the Ocean.

At the end of their performances the members of the Repertory Acting Company greeted the student audience and answered questions. They may have even handed out a few autographs!
