Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Application

WUE is the Western Undergraduate Exchange, a program of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE). Through WUE, students in many of the western states may enroll at Eastern Arizona College at 150 percent of our regular resident tuition. WUE tuition is considerably less than nonresident tuition.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the WUE program, students must meet the following program guidelines:

Legal resident of participating state: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming.
Acceptance to Eastern Arizona College.
Full-time student status at Eastern Arizona College
Annual accumulation of 24 credit hours at a minimum 2.0 grade average.

State Residency Requirements

Complete WUE application (or print and mail the .pdf form) and mail a copy of one (1) valid supporting document from your State of Residence that is current or within one year of application date to the following address:

Supporting Documents:

Driver’s license
Motor vehicle registration
State income tax return for previous year
High school transcript or diploma
Property ownership document
Dependency status indicated on parent’s federal income tax return from previous year
Bank statement addressed to your state of residency

Note: You cannot count a semester toward Arizona residency while on the WUE
