Eastern Adopts New Fund Disbursement Procedure
Students can now have instant access to their financial aid refunds and other school payments with an innovative new
Visa® debit prepaid card from JPMorgan Chase. Each Eastern financial aid student is automatically approved. Don't wait!

Eastern Arizona College and JPMorgan Chase have partnered to bring students a faster, safer, and more convenient
way to receive and use refunds from the school. This card gives every student the power of Visa, but it’s not a credit card.
Students can access their own money from school payments with the Chase University Card, using it the same
way as a Visa debit card.
Beats the Hassle of Check Cashing
Instead of standing in line to cash a check, students can have their money electronically deposited to the Chase University Card. The card can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. It can also be used at ATMs. The
card will also allow students to shop online, by phone, or mail order as well as to pay bills like ISPs and insurance. And there's a
huge safety benefit - if the card is ever lost or stolen, Visa's zero liability fraud will prevent students from losing their money and
protect them from unauthorized purchases (see the program Terms and Conditions).
Eastern Saves Another Tree
Instead of sending paper checks by mail, Eastern can now pay students electronically, which saves cutting down another
tree. Students will have a much easier way to receive and use their funds and the school eliminates unnecessary expenses
for paper checks and postage.”

Enrolling in the University Card program
Enrollment in the University Card program is done though Gila Hank Online, EAC’s online student information system.
Students who have activated their Gila Hank Online account, click here to log on and then click the “University Card”
tab to enroll.
If you have never activated your student account on Gila Hank Online, choose the link that says "Click here to activate your student account" and follow the online instructions.
Once activated, log on and click the “University Card” tab to enroll.
