EAC’s HVAC-R certification prepares students to enter the skilled trade of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration.

The HVAC-R certification will prepare you to take the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and ESCO (Energy Service Company) work readiness examinations.

In your career, you’ll focus primarily on residential and light commercial equipment, including installation procedures, code requirements, electrical applications, and refrigerant handling procedures.

High Pay and Great Earning Potential

EAC’s HVAC-R Program is a great return on your investment. Certified HVAC-R technicians are in high demand in Arizona; there is a 41% expected increase in employment in this field over the next five years.

Within a 100 mile radius of Thatcher, there are nearly 150 job openings annually with a median salary of nearly $22/hour, or approximately $46,000 a year.*

Cost of Tuition

EAC’s tuition for this program is $1350 plus the cost of books. This is a significant cost savings compared to other seven-month programs in the Phoenix area that charge over $16,000.** Paying for your certificate may be easier than you think.
