EAC’s SBDC offering “Small Business Tips for the Holidays” Seminar

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a seminar entitled, “Small Business Tips for the Holidays,” on Thursday, September 19, 2013, from 8-10 a.m., in EAC’s High Tech Center, Room #116. Admission for the seminar is $20 per person.

The seminar is for small business owners and will cover different marketing techniques to help them benefit from, and handle, the holiday season.

“The holidays aren’t just important for retailers and ecommerce sites,” says Kevin Peck, the SBDC director and instructor of this seminar. “For many companies—restaurants, hotels, personal services like salons, even business services like accountants and lawyers—the holiday season is often the busiest time of the year.

“We want to help you create a plan that will increase your chances of a successful and profitable holiday season,” continued Peck.

In the seminar, business owners will learn how to set holiday goals, implement various marketing techniques, use social media for their business and create discount ideas. They will also learn how to manage holiday money, utilize seasonal staff, and make the holiday benefits last long after the season is over.
