By Lori Dugan
Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Intermediate Children’s Theatre group will offer four performances of the musical Music Man beginning on Wednesday, March 4, and running through Saturday, march 7, at 7:30 p.m., in the Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Activities Center—Lee Little Theater.
The cast of over fifty children, ages 11 to 14, are excited to present this junior version of the original comedy to the public. The musical’s director, Penny Whetten, says, “We think the public will love this adaptation of the original hit musical. The plot follows traveling salesman Harold Hill on a visit to Iowa, where he tries to convince the town to adopt his revolutionary music program, ‘The Think System.’”
Cost of admission is $3 per person and tickets are available weekdays at the EAC Ticket Office from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., or can be reserved by calling (928) 428-8228 during the same hours. Tickets will also be available at the door.
