EAC’s Annual Symphonic Band Concert

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Symphonic Band will present its annual concert on April 27, 2015, at 7:30 p.m., in EAC’s Fine Arts Auditorium. The concert is free to the public and appropriate for music lovers of all ages.
EAC’s band director, Geoff DeSpain, says, “The students in the band program here at EAC are hard working. They have put together a fantastic concert that will be enjoyable for all to hear.”
The music that will be performed at the concert will include, Star Spangled Banner, arranged by John Williams; American Salute, composed by Morton Gould; Amazing Grace, arranged by Frank Ticheli, under the direction of EAC student conductor Javier Aguilar; Dash, composed by Anthony O’Toole; Connacht Rhapsody, composed by David R. Holsinger; Vesuvius, composed by Frank Ticheli; Theme from Schindler’s List, composed by John Williams; Selections from Into the Woods, arranged by Stephen Bulla; Crystallize, arranged by Kevin Ward; and Amaprito Roca, arranged by Aubrey Winter.
