United Way of Graham County awards $50K toward EAC Scholarships

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College‚Äôs Foundation (EACF) is pleased to announce that the United Way (UW) of Graham County has awarded $50,000 for student scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year.

The United Way Scholarships will go to 2015 graduates from Graham and Greenlee County high schools who will be attending Eastern Arizona College next fall. Student recipients of the United Way Scholarship from 2014, who maintained full-time status and a 3.0 grade point average, will also receive a second year of tuition assistance as a result of this donation.

Members from the United Way of Graham County Board of Directors and the Eastern Arizona College Board of Directors gathered to celebrate this scholarship donation. Eastern Arizona College is pleased to partner with the United Way to provide the opportunity for a brighter future to our local students. This generous gift opens the door to many more students to obtain the skills and knowledge necessary for success in our ever-changing world.
