Take a short-term, five-week course in Apple OS – starts tonight at EAC!

Thatcher, AZ— Did you get a new iPad, or iPhone this Christmas season but don’t know how to use it? Or do you simply want to get more out of it? Eastern Arizona College is now offering short-term, five-week courses on Apple OS. In this course the rationale and use of the iOS operating system is explored and designed to provide experience using aspects of Apple’s iOS including: Settings, Gestures, Copying between programs, email setup and use, calendar setup and use, contacts setup and use, importing and exporting documents, iCloud setup and use, Keynote, and Pages. This knowledge will make you more proficient in the use of your iPads and iPhones. The classes will be taught by EAC computer instructor, James McBride.

The class on the Apple OS will be CMP113D, Apple OS, section #6041. This class will meet on Tuesday evenings from, August 18 – September 15, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., in HTC-113.

“If you’re interested in learning what this technology buzz is all about and how to use it in your personal life or business, this class is for you,” says McBride.

“You don’t even need to have this technology. EAC has invested in iOS for you to explore with and use in class.”
