By Lexi Lutz
Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s English Department invites the public to attend a public reading EAC’s literary magazine, 2016 Voice, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 5 p.m., in room 118 of the Academic Programs Building on EAC’s Middle Campus.
The creative works range from funny–to deeply moving–to experimental, and includes poetry, creative, and non-fiction writing. Free Copies of 2016 Voice will be distributed at the event.
“Editing this year’s 2016 Voice was a challenge because so many submissions were of such high quality. We have some talented and hard-working writers at EAC who are excited about sharing their work,” says English instructor and Voice magazine editor, Laura David. “Past attendees to Voice readings have been surprised and impressed by the quality of the writing, and some have been inspired to enroll in EAC’s creative writing classes themselves.”
Students and community members who attend can gain a taste of the diverse types of writing classes available through EAC’s creative writing program. For more information, contact Laura David at (928) 428-8420 or by email at Laura David.
