EAC Dance Department invites you to a Bicentennial Ball
By Anders Peterson
THATCHER, AZ—Celebrating the 200th Anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition, the EAC Dance Department is hosting a Ball on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 7-9 p.m. in the EAC Main Dining Hall.
“This expedition was the longest (4,000 miles) and most romantic in US History,” says EAC Dance Instructor, Gayla Curtis. “There were send off balls, welcome home balls, and recreational dancing in camp along the way.
Please join us for this wonderful experience that will include a demonstration, however; attendees are cordially invited to dance. The event is free and open to the entire public. Attire can be dressy, traditional, ballgowns, or anything in between.
For more information about this Centennial Ball, phone Gayla Curtis at 428-2194.
