Thatcher, AZ—Do you own an iPhone, iPad, or Macintosh computer or are you thinking of getting one? Eastern Arizona College is offering a short-term, four-week course on Apple’s two operating systems: iOS and Mac OS.
The class, CMP113D, Apple OS, section #6041, will meet on Tuesday evenings from, August 23 – September 13, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., in HTC-113.
In the first half of the course students will learn all they need to know about maintaining and using their iOS device. Any questions they have will be answered.
The final two weeks of the course will cover information about how to use Mac OS, the operating system used on Apple’s Macintosh computer desktops and notebooks.
“If you’re interested in learning what this technology buzz is all about and how to use it in your personal life or business, this class is for you,” says EAC computer instructor James McBride.
Students are not required to bring their devices or laptops because EAC has a lab of 30 iPads ready for them to use.
Regular tuition and fees apply for this one-credit course. Arizona residents age 55 and over qualify for a tuition waiver. For more information or to register, contact the EAC Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 or register online at www.eac.edu.
