EAC President Announces Retirement
By
Thatcher, AZ— Eastern Arizona College President Mark Bryce announced his retirement to a group of faculty and staff on Friday.
The retirement date given was May 15, 2018.
Although the date is still a year and half away, the announcement was made now in order to allow the College time to implement the process of finding a successor.
President Bryce began his tenure as president of EAC in February of 2002. He is the longest currently serving CEO of a university or community college in Arizona, and possibly the longest currently serving president in the Mountain West.
President Bryce said, “I have 22 reasons [for retirement], they are called grandchildren.”
