EAC extends Nursing Program application to June 15; Offers summer LNA course
By Kris McBride
THATCHER, Ariz.— Eastern Arizona College’s Nursing Program – the No. 1 ranked nursing college in the state – has extended its application deadline until June 15, and is offering a summer LNA course for those unable to complete clinical application requirements due to COVID-19 restrictions. The LNA course, a requirement for entrance into EAC’s Nursing Program, will be taught at EAC’s Thatcher campus prior to the application deadline.
“EAC’s Nursing Program is ranked the best in the state for a reason,” stated Carolyn McCormies, EAC’s director of nursing and division chair for the Nursing and Allied Health Department. “Our instructors care about their students and give them the foundation to succeed in their careers anywhere throughout the world. We have a 100 percent pass rate for the NCLEX examination, so students are well-prepared and are ready for any challenge.”
Prospective students should contact email@example.com or 928-428-8396. Nursing applications are due June 15. Inquiries should be made soon as possible; this is one of the fastest growing programs in the state and space is limited.
