EAC Health and Physical Education Department to Offer Bowling this Spring
By Todd Haynie
THATCHER, AZ—Dust off those bowling shoes. Eastern Arizona College will begin offering Beginning and Advanced Bowling I and II as personal enrichment classes this spring.
The classes, taught by Bridget Blair, are designed to teach students the fundamental skills leading to optimal bowling performance. The one-credit courses will be taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 3:50 p.m. at Safford Bowl, located at 410 E. 4th St. in Safford.
“Bowling is a great stress-reliever,” explains Blair. “This class is for students who want to improve their technique or just want to come down, meet other students and have fun.”
Tuition for the course is $47. Current students may be able to add Bowling to their class schedules without the additional tuition charge. An additional $30 bowling fee is also required.
To register, call the Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 and register for Section #5694 (Beginning Bowling I), Section #5695 (Beginning Bowling II), Section #5696 (Advanced Bowling I), or Section #5697 (Advanced Bowling II), or visit www.eac.edu to register online.
