THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Children’s Theatre group has been busy practicing and is ready to present four performances of the musical version of The Adventures of Mr. Toad, which will feature a cast of actors between the ages of four and 10.

The Adventures of Mr. Toad will be performed April 30, and May 1-3, 2008, in the Gherald L. Hoopes Jr. Activities Center-Lee Little Theater, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night.

This is a fun-filled musical adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s “The Wind in the Willows” which relates the fall and rise of the impulsive Mr. Toad through a series of daring adventures. The invaluable support of his riverside chums helps to bring about a joyous conclusion.

“This is a great play to do with the younger actors,” says Penny Whetten, the play’s director. “It’s fun to perform and has a wonderful message for kids of all ages,” said Whetten.

Cost of admission is $3 per person and tickets are available weekdays at the EAC Ticket Office from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., or can be reserved by calling 428-8228 during the same hours. Tickets will also be available at the door.
