THATCHER, AZ—The Eastern Arizona College Discovery Park Campus anthropology lecture series continues with a free slide show and lecture entitled “Alaska: After the Lights Go Down” at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008, in the Jupiter Room at Discovery Park Campus.

The hour-long, family friendly program will be presented by the dean of EAC’s Discovery Park Campus, Harry Swanson. “We will see photographs of the Aurora Borealis (“Northern Lights”), rainbows, sunrises, sunsets, campfires, comets, and unique skies,” says Swanson.

Swanson encourages all to join him for this latest installment in this updated culture lecture series, welcoming everyone to “come on out to the campus and take a look at all the beautiful lights associated with Alaska, ‘The Great Land.’”
