EAC to offer Small Business Proprietor certificate program in Bylas

Prospective students are invited to attend an open house October 30
THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College is working with the Bylas District Council and the San Carlos Apache Tribal Council to provide an intensive 10-month Small Business Proprietor certificate program to prepare individuals to start their own business.
Classes will be held at the newly-constructed Bylas Learning Center in Bylas, Arizona. Students will receive training in accounting, financial management, marketing, computer skills, business management, economics, business law, and business planning. Completion of the program is a prerequisite for applying to the forthcoming Bylas Business Incubator Program.
Classes, to be held Monday through Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., will begin Monday, November 3, 2008. Introduction to Entrepreneurship (SBM110, Section #) will be taught on Monday and Wednesday nights and Introduction to Computers (CMP101, Section #) will be taught on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
