By Jeanné Clark

THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Speech Communications Department, in conjunction with Discovery Park Campus, will host the annual Halloween Story Sharing event at the Discovery Park Campus Grand Kiva on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 7:30 p.m.

The free event is suitable for all ages; however, only individuals over the age of 12 will be invited to tell stories.

“This year there will be three cash prizes, one for the best told story, one for the scariest story, and one for the funniest story,” says Lee Russell, head of EAC’s Speech Communication Department. “This is a great event at a unique time of year. Everyone is invited to share, listen, and be scared out of their wits!”

Those wishing to participate in the event should contact Lee Russell at his office, (928) 428-8489, or at his home, (928) 428-3427.
