Glenda Bonin’s “Tales of Delight” coming to EAC
By Jeanné Clark
THATCHER, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Speech Communications Department will be hosting storyteller Glenda Bonin on Friday, December 4, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the Gila/Galiuro room at the EAC Activities Center. The public is invited to attend this free event that will be suitable for all ages.
As a storyteller, teacher, performer, and workshop presenter for more than twenty-five years, Bonin has a great deal of experience working with kindergarteners through high schoolers, college classes, library programs, and community events. Her storytelling often includes puppetry, magic, theatre arts, and creative writing activities.
“Bonin has been telling stories for a long time,” says Lee Russell, head of EAC’s Speech Communications Department. “She has delighted audiences from Arizona to Alaska and is one of the gems of Arizona that all residents of this state can claim with pride. A regular on EAC’s campus, Bonin involves her audiences and interacts with them. Come and be enveloped in her stories and enriched by this great heritage that storytelling offers to all.”
