THATCHER, AZ—Auditions for the Eastern Arizona College Children’s Theatre production of Disney’s The Jungle Book will be held on Monday, March 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. and Tuesday, March 23, from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Gerald L. Hoopes Jr. Activities Center—Lee Little Theater.
“Parents, if you want to help your children improve their communication skills and give them an opportunity to express themselves, then children’s theatre is perfect,” says the musical’s director, Penny Whetten. “Disney’s The Jungle Book is such a fun story, and there’s lots of different characters. Everyone who auditions will receive a part.”
Children between the ages of 4 and 10 are encouraged to audition. Students should come to the audition prepared to sing, and they will need to provide their own accompaniment or sing a cappella. A piano will be available. There is a $15 fee for all students involved.
For more information about the auditions, contact Whetten at 428-7922.
