Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Speech Communications Department will host storyteller and EAC favorite Layne Gneiting for two events on Halloween weekend. Both are family-friendly and free to the public.

First up, on Friday, October 29, Gneiting will perform some of his most-loved stories in a special Halloween event in the Lee Little Theatre at the EAC Activities Center at 7 p.m.

“This will be a fun Halloween event,” says Lee Russell, head of EAC’s Speech Communications Department. “Come in a costume and get a treat, without a costume you may be asked to do a trick on stage!”

Then, on the morning of October 30, Gneiting will conclude the weekend’s events with a 10 a.m. workshop entitled Getting in the Mood: A Storyteller’s Introduction in the Gila/Galiuro room of the EAC Activities Center. There are only 30 seats available for the workshop. So, call Lee Russell in the EAC Speech Communications department at (928) 428-8489 to reserve your spot.
