Thatcher, AZ—EAC’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a seminar entitled Starting Your Own Business. This free, two-hour seminar will be held in the EAC Academic Programs Building Room #109, on Thursday, June 9, from 6-8 p.m.
“As the old saying goes, ‘if you fail to plan, you plan to fail,’” says Charmaine Chidester, SBDC business counselor. “Many small businesses start out with very little planning and foresight. This class will cover all the basics to help entrepreneurs maximize their success. Whether you have already started a business or are just thinking about the future, this free class will give you important information.”
The seminar will be presented by Kevin Peck, director of the EAC SBDC, who says, “This class will cover all the basics to help entrepreneurs maximize their success. Attendees will learn the top eight reasons why businesses fail—and how to overcome them. We will also discuss the resources available to help small business start, grow, and prosper.”
The seminar is sponsored by Eastern Arizona College’s SBDC. For more information about this seminar, or to register, call the SBDC at 428-8590 or contact the office by email at email@example.com.
