Thatcher, AZ— Eastern Arizona College’s Early Childhood Education Department, in partnership with Safford City Graham County Library, will co-host Dinosaur Days on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. This come-and-go event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the library, located at 808 7th Avenue in Safford.
Dinosaur Days provides an educational activity day for children ages 3-5. Kids will be able to participate in a variety of dinosaur activities, including stories, games, arts and crafts, and music. The children will rotate between the events, and will take about an hour to complete.
“Children will have opportunities to express themselves through art, game playing, listening to stories and learning new things in the process,” says the head of EAC’s Early Childhood Education Department, JoAnn Morales. EAC’s Early Childhood Education students will be on hand to assist with the activities, but parents are asked to stay with their children while participating in the fun. This event is free to all children.
