EAC’s SBDC presents Starting your own Business

By Lexi Heninger

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a seminar entitled, Starting your own Business, on Thursday, October 13, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the EAC Academic Programs Building, Room #118.

This seminar will cover all the basics to help entrepreneurs maximize success as they start their own business. Participants will learn the top eight reasons why businesses fail, and how to overcome them, as well as the resources available to help small businesses start, grow, and prosper. This presentation is for those who have already started a business or are just thinking about the future.

“As the old saying goes, ‘If you fail to plan, you plan to fail’,” said EAC SBDC counselor Charmaine Chidester. “Many small businesses start out with very little planning and foresight. Attend this seminar to triple your chances of survival!”
