SBDC offering QuickBooks –The Complete Course

Thatcher, AZ—EAC's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering a three-day seminar entitled, QuickBooks –The Complete Course, October 18-20, 2011; from 5:30 to 9 p.m., in South Campus classroom #5.

The fee for the course is $129 per person (including the price of the textbook) and will be taught by Petrea Kunz, Advanced Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks. “It is important to know what items are on your financial statements so that you can make educated financial decisions. By understanding QuickBooks you will learn where items appear and how that affects your business,” says Kunz. “This class is for people who know how to use computers but are beginners with QuickBooks.”

EAC SBDC director, Kevin Peck says, “This 10-hour course will cover how to set up QuickBooks, working with QuickBooks lists, working with bank accounts, entering sales information, as well as receiving payments, making deposits, entering and paying bills, analyzing financial data, setting up inventory, tracking and paying sales tax, payroll, estimating and progress invoicing, tracking time, customizing forms, and writing QuickBooks letters.”
