EAC's 33rd annual Fall Sing is scheduled for October 27-28, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. and October 29, 2011, at 2 p.m. Open up the Curtain, will take center stage at EAC’s Fine Arts Auditorium and will spotlight performances by EAC’s choir groups, EACompany, Jazz Singers, Women’s Chorale, Men’s Chorus, Fourte, GuyZ, Women’s Quartet, A Cappella Choir, and the Combined Choirs.
The production will begin with Open up the Curtains, arranged by Dr. Bruce Bishop, followed by the Eastern Arizona College Alma Mater, arranged by Dr. David Lunt.
“The public will love the program we’ve prepared,” says EAC choir director Bruce Bishop. “We’ll be singing a variety of songs, from Footloose to Sing.”
Also on the program for the evening are several traditional spiritual songs and folk hymns. The choirs will be performing several numbers from show-tune favorites, all arranged in Bishop’s fresh performance style.
The program will close with a performance of The Singing Heart, arranged by Bob Chilcott, followed by a reprise of Open Up The Curtain.
Admission for the performance is $5/person. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling EAC’s Ticket Office at (928)-428-8228.
