Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting a seminar entitled, “Google’s Get Your Business Online: How to Build a Free Website,” on Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Greenlee Country Club, in York.
Google’s national program, “Get Your Business On-line,” allows small businesses to reserve a domain name and create a website, all for free. In addition, through this program, Google provides free domain name and hosting for the first year.
“Many small businesses in Greenlee County would like to have a website, but can't afford to pay a professional to build one. This program will allow any business owner to have a nice, user-friendly website to help guide potential customers to their storefront. We will have Wi-Fi, and attendees who have a mobile device (laptop, iPad, etc.) will build their website that night,” says SBDC business counselor, Charmaine Chidester.
Registration is strongly encouraged as seating is limited and attendees need to receive information prior to the seminar to maximize time. For more information or to register for “Google’s Get Your Business Online: How to Build a Free Website,” contact the EAC SBDC at (928) 428-8590 or by email at Charmaine Chidester.
