EAC presents its annual fall orchestra concert, “War and Music”

Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Fall Orchestra Concert, “War and Music,” on Saturday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held in the College’s Activities Center–Lee Little Theatre and will be conducted by EAC Orchestra Director Franklin Alvarez. Admission is $5 per person (children under age five admitted free) and full time EAC students will be admitted free with their student ID.

The symphony will perform “Marche Militaire No. 1 in D,” by Franz Schubert; “Symphony No. 100-Military,” by Franz Joseph Haydn; Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture,” and from “The Planets,” Gustav Holst’s, “Mars.”

Tickets for “War and Music” are on sale now at EAC’s Ticket Office at (928) 42808228 and will be available at the door.
