Thatcher, AZ—Eastern Arizona College’s Orchestra will offer its Spring 2013 concert, “Inspired by Women,” on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at 7:30 p.m., in the EAC Fine Arts Auditorium. Admission is $5 per person and full-time EAC students will be admitted free with ID.

The concert will include a variety of pieces about women including, “I Dream of Jeanie,” by Stephen Foster; “The Beautiful Galatea,” by F. Von Suppe; and “Silhouette of Tara,” by Max Steiner.

“We will be featuring work from Jenna B. Mosley of Duncan,” says Franklin Alvarez, EAC’s orchestra director. “She has written a piece entitled, ‘A Musical Tribute to the Gila Valley’ that we have been working on all semester and can’t wait to perform. The composer herself will be on hand!”
