EAC offering Media Production Process this summer
By Lori Dugan
Thatcher, AZ— For the first time ever, Eastern Arizona College will offer its popular “Media Production Process” class during the summer. The class, MDC297A, section #6078 for Summer Session I (May 28-June 28), and section #7044 for session II (July 1-August 2), will be taught by Robert Rogers on Wednesday evenings, from 6-9 p.m., in the Industrial Technology Building, Room #3 on the Thatcher campus.
Media Production Process introduces the hardware, software, organizational techniques, and editing skills required to complete various media projects.
According to Rogers, the class is geared toward the novice computer user, saying, “The programs and techniques are quite intuitive and user-friendly while providing a professional-looking finished product. Even the casual user can soon be comfortable with the processes, software, and equipment.” “And that’s just be beginning,” he continued. “In my class, students are urged to unleash their creativity and cleverness to get the fullest appeal for their pictures, video, and other media projects.”
Students have access to the latest high-speed and well-equipped computers, dual monitors, current software upgrades of the most competent and user-friendly programs, and an experienced base of techniques to get professional results.
Registration is going on now through the first day of class. To register, contact the EAC Records and Registration Office at (928) 428-8270 or register online at www.eac.edu.
